Interview over at Innmouth Free Press

An interview I did with Innsmouth Free Press went up today. I talk with Silvia Moreno-Garcia on The Spiraling Worm and the Harrison Peel series, my influences and favorite books, the Australian speculative fiction scene, H.P. Lovecraft and the Cthulhu Mythos, and the Call of Cthulhu role-playing game. Read the interview here.

"These days, I read my stories out aloud to myself about five times on the last draft just to pick out mistakes my internal reading mind doesn’t see."

I'm happy to proofread for you if you like. I enjoy reading your stuff. There were 2 errors in your story in 2012 :-(.

Thanks Friendless for the offer. One always hopes that between the editor and author, no mistakes ever appear.

You know, I went back to that story and read it again and couldn't find them... maybe I was thinking of some other story in one of the anthologies I've been reading. All I could find was that at the end of Subtle Invasion you had "snug" where you probably meant "stung".

"Stung" sounds correct in the context of "Subtle Invasion", since the story is about wasps, in part.
