Cthulhu's Dark Cults: 6 May 2010

It has come to my attention that my first edited anthology, Cthulhu's Dark Cults, will be released on 6 May 2010. I'm naturally very pleased to discover this.

The anthology contains ten short stories and novellas using characters, monsters, locations and cults that first appeared in the Call of Cthulhu role-playing game. Sources include old classics familiar to many gamers from my generation or older, such as Masks of Nyarlathotep, Day of the Beast, Horror on the Orient Express and Shadows of Yog-Sothoth. The cover incidentally is by the very talented Steve Gilbert, and I'm pleased we got him.

Up until the book's release, I'll be posting a little on many of the stories, a bit about the author and an extract from their tale. In the meantime there is already a Wikipedia page for the anthology where more can be unveiled.

A very animated forum topic at Yog-Sothoth.com on the book can be found here.
